Opinion is Norway's largest independent, employee-owned research agency, we are rigged to handle the most demanding clients and projects, locally and (with our partner network) internationally.

Opinion conducts more than 200 focus groups and 1000 in-depth interviews per year. We have two modern focus group rooms in our Oslo office, with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. For the last few years, Opinion has helped a large number of international agencies in understanding the Norwegian consumer.

 

Market Leader

Opinion is the market leader within trend research and qualitative research in Norway. Each year, we publish our report “Consumer Stories”, where we identify and explain consumer trends in the Norwegian market, based on documented insight and research. Opinion has been one of the pioneers within digital research in the Norwegian market. We have been running online communities on our own platform since 2009 and have a lot of experience within digital ethnography and other types of online qualitative research.

Every employee who works with research is a personal member of the Norwegian Market Research Association, which gives a personal responsibility to work according to the standards and ethical rules of this organization (based on established ESOMAR regulations). We are also a member of Virke Markedsanalyse, the association for research agencies in Norway. Through our membership in Virke, we are an active player in promoting the role of research in our society, and work to implement high quality standards within our industry.
