Export Assistance

GO-Biz supports California businesses and promotes exports globally. Export services offered:

• California State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) - The STEP program supports small and medium businesses increase their exports by providing grants for international trade shows, trade missions, and other export promotion activities.
• California Export Training Network - GO-Biz is collaborating with partners throughout the state to provide coordinated training programs to help grow California exports.
• Partners - We work with partners at the federal, regional, and local level to help businesses thrive.

 

Small Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship

The Office of the Small Business Advocate (SB Advocate) helps support economic growth and innovation by working to ensure that California’s small businesses and entrepreneurs have the information, tools and resources they need to plan, launch, manage and grow their businesses successfully and be resilient.

We recognize that California small businesses are critical drivers of economic growth and mobility – creating jobs, building wealth, innovating to solve global problems and define future growth industries, and defining main streets across our local communities. The SB Advocate serves to elevate their voices in state government and to advocate on their behalf to help ensure all aspiring and current small business owners and entrepreneurs are provided with the opportunity to access capital, access markets, and connect to the networks and resources they need to succeed.
