About Perry Goldstein

Perry Goldstein is an electronics industry veteran, with over 40 years of experience in manufacturer sales and marketing in both the consumer electronics and Pro A/V spaces.  He has managed sales in both B2B and B2C markets.  He spent the majority of his career with Panasonic, where he pioneered many programs in the consumer electronics industry.  Among them was the industry’s first local based multiethnic marketing campaign, advertising in five different languages simultaneously in the Los Angeles market.  He was also a member of the team that executed Panasonic’s entry into the ecommerce vertical in the late 1990s, including Amazon in its early days.  At Marshall Electronics, Perry managed global sales and marketing activities for the MXL audio division.  He designed and executed the ecommerce Global Initiative, placing MXL microphone products on Amazon and other ecommerce sites in seven different continents.  Perry is also an accomplished writer, a professional presenter, entertainer, and a musician.

Perry is a recognized expert in ethnic marketing.  While at Panasonic, Perry designed and managed the electronics industry’s first entry into ethnic marketing.  He created marketing campaigns in Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.  He worked on the U.S. 2010 census, designing and executing a campaign in Spanish, Russian, Tagalog, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.  

Perry has managed both sales and marketing teams.  He served as Sales Manager and Marketing Manager at Panasonic, and was Director Of Sales & Marketing at Marshall Electronics/MXL.  He is also an award winning sales person.  

Perry joined the California International Trade Center team in 2019 as an ecommerce Industry Expert.  In that capacity, is creating educational materials for use by small businesses and student interns.  He is also an active blogger for CITC, contributing blogs covering all topics relating to ecommerce business and careers.   

Perry’s field of expertise is content creation and content marketing.  He has created ecommerce content for both company owned websites, as well as third party platforms.  He has extensive experience in creating content for Amazon worldwide.  He also has expertise in the business of ecommerce, specializing in channel sales strategy and execution.  While at Marshall, he managed worldwide channel sales.  

Perry’s greatest talent is his creativity.  He is known as “The Big Idea Guy”.  Many of the products, programs and events he created were first-in-industry.   He won numerous awards for product design in the microphone field.  He is an accomplished event manager, specializing in the creation and execution of large scale marketing events.
